Ready to learn how to play chess and improve your brain power, such as focus, memory, logic and creativity? Families are invited to sign up for a 6-week virtual class session with professional chess instructor and international competitor, Bob Holliman. Spaces are limited, so sign up soon! You will learn how the pieces move and their values, starting moves, cool checkmating patterns, and more. Each virtual instructional class is 45 minutes long. After you register for the class, you will receive an email invite to join the Boca Raton Public Library (BRPL) Chess Club so you can practice your new chess moves with others during an optional post-class virtual, 30-minute, open-play period. This open-play period will be moderated by a library team member.
